Cleanings and Exams
During each cleaning the hygienist will remove tarter, and plaque as
well as polish your teeth.
Once a year x-rays will be taken, and after each cleaning Dr. O’Donnell
will do an exam on your teeth.
White Fillings
We use a composite resin which is a white material
that gives a more natural look than
traditional silver fillings.
Sealants
Sealants are
typically done on children under 18. They are a coating of a material that
protects the molars and premolars.
Fluoride Varnish
Fluoride is used to strengthen the teeth typically done on
children.
Extractions
Sometimes there is no way of saving a tooth and it must be extracted.
Sometimes a tooth can be removed in our office, other times a patient will be referred to an Oral Surgeon.
Emergency
We will take an x-ray of the problem area
after which Dr. O’Donnell will do an exam to
determine what should be done next.
Crowns
Typically Dr. O’Donnell uses a laboratory created BruxZir crown. These crowns are virtually
indestructible. Crowns are completed in two visits 1-Preperation and temporary. 2-Insert.
